Kaanapali

Originally established as a sugar plantation in 1860, the Kaanapali resort region now also includes lands converted into coffee farms in the 1980s. Current residents of the area’s condos and single-family homes appreciate the lifestyle offered by its warm and sunny climate, beautiful beaches, walking and hiking trails, incredible golf (in Kaanapali itself and nearby Kapalua), and wide array of dining and shopping options (in both Kaanapali and its neighbor to the south, Lahaina). Situated on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains, Kaanapali features fabulous views of the neighbor islands of Lanai and Molokai, along with dazzling sunsets year-round.
